Annie Links was a beautiful performer, singer and artist in the East village. I first met her at a health food store when she told me that Alan Steinfeld was the best acupuncturist in the world (he is). Alan regrets that at the end of her life, as she was dying of Ovarian Cancer he was not able to make the trip down to where she was living with her family. I regret that I was not able to gather more tools for a recovery and I post this in deepest respect and love for her boyfriend who survives her, was a great companion in artistic creations and for a recent poster on YouTube who feels the message is that she wasted her time and life by doing alternative therapies. I feel Annie would have taken the risk I am now by posting this. May the world see more of Annie’s love as her art remains and will inspire many. This is completely unedited footage except for a clip of her real last name. It starts with going down to the East river for sunrise meditations and is the one time her boyfriend joined us. They were working on a series for MNN on alternative therapies.
